Gelatin Printmaking to Bookbinding
This workshop introduced the concept of printing without a press, where printing surfaces were made using gelatin, and found objects were used to create the desired textures on the prints. The topic of Ornamentation was discussed while in the making, and at the end each participant succeeded in binding his/ her own prints making a mini accordion book of unique patterns and ornaments.

Gelatin Printing
This workshop continued the exploration of printing without a press, using Gelli plates as the surfaces to print from. Cut-outs and found objects were used to create the desired textures on the prints. The topic of “Identity” was discussed while in the making, and at the end each participant succeeded in creating a three layers print using Gelli printing technique. This workshop was privately organized for Al Awqaf Organization.
